Police Investigating Injury Of Baby At Daycare In Langford, B.C.

    LANGFORD, B.C. — Police are conducting an investigation into the injury of a child under the age of one at a daycare in Langford, B.C.

     

    West Shore RCMP Serious Crimes Unit says the investigation is in the early stages and the cause of injury is yet to be determined.


    Police say no arrests have been made and investigators haven't yet determined if the baby's injury was criminal in nature.


    The Ministry of Children and Family Development and Island Health have been notified with respect to any child care or safety concerns.


    Police did not identify the daycare centre, and say its operators are co-operating in the investigation.
