Police Investigate 'Offensive' Graffiti And Symbols In Halifax Park, School

The Canadian Press, 10 Sep, 2018 01:43 PM

Halifax police are investigating several incidents of what they say is graphic and offensive graffiti in Dartmouth.

They say the graffiti was found near Sullivan's Pond and included symbols spray-painted in several places throughout the area.

The second location was at Prince Andrew High School, where numerous symbols were spray-painted on the back of the school building.

Photos on social media indicate the graffiti depicted swastikas, however, officials have since covered over the symbols with purple paint.

They say more graffiti was discovered early this morning near Windmill Road, describing it as offensive but providing no other details.

They say it's not clear if it's related to the two other incidents and are asking anyone with information to contact them or Crime Stoppers.
