Police In Surrey And Vancouver, Seek Witnesses To Two Crashes, One That Killed Woman

Darpan News Desk The Canadian Press, 05 May, 2015 07:32 PM
VANCOUVER — Police are appealing for witnesses to a crash outside a Vancouver grocery store that left a woman dead.

The 60-year-old woman was struck and taken to hospital with head injuries but didn't survive.

Police say the driver of a pickup truck that was entering the lot on April 27 stayed at the scene and is co-operating but they need to speak with more witnesses.

In Surrey, RCMP are looking for the driver involved in a hit and run that seriously injured a woman in her 60s.

Mounties say the vehicle described as an older-model four-door white or grey sedan sped away last November.

They say the woman still has limited mobility and needs medical treatment several times a week.
