PRINCE GEORGE, B.C. — There is no body, but RCMP in Prince George, B.C., say they're treating the disappearance of a 24-year-old man as a homicide.
Jordan McLeod was reported missing a week ago and was last seen in Prince George and Vanderhoof three days earlier.
RCMP issued a news release last week saying they believe McLeod's disappearance may have been linked to a report of shots fired near Highway 16 and Upper Fraser Road in Prince George.
Police say their investigation into McLeod's case involved more than 100 officers from three different communities.
Investigators are looking for his burgundy 2006 Chevrolet Malibu with the licence plate 163 RNA.
Mounties believe the vehicle he was driving is an important piece of evidence and they are asking anyone who spots the car to call police.
