Police Find Body Of Missing Five Months Pregnant Woman In Her Quebec Home

The Canadian Press, 07 Aug, 2015 11:37 AM
BELOEIL, Que. — Quebec Provincial Police say a body found Thursday in a home near Montreal is that of a woman who lived there and who had been missing since last Saturday.

Cheryl Bau-Tremblay of Beloeil, northeast of Montreal, was 28 years old and five months pregnant.

Sgt. Ingrid Asselin says police continue to question Bau-Tremblay's spouse, who lived in the home, but he has not been classified as a suspect.

Asselin says police have also questioned the woman's neighbours and relatives.

Investigators discovered the body during a search inside and outside the house after receiving judicial authorization.

Police have not revealed how the woman died or where inside the house the body was found.
