Police Arrest Three More In Chilliwack Drug Bust Trafficking To Province's North

The Canadian Press, 09 Dec, 2015 12:44 PM
CHILLIWACK, B.C. — Three more men have been charged in connection with a Fraser Valley drug-trafficking syndicate operating in northern British Columbia.

The charges come after the province's combined forces unit wrapped up an investigation last year into a drug-distribution network based out of Chilliwack.

Police announced last March it had arrested five people after seizing cash, weapons and more than five-million dollars worth of illegal drugs, including the deadly substance Fentanyl.

In May, officers intercepted an alleged drug runner who was travelling to Fort St. John with two other members of the Chilliwack-based trafficking group and seized cash, cocaine and crack cocaine.

Police have now arrested 33-year-old Clayton Eheler and issued warrants for 59-year-old Raymond Morrisey and 29-year-old Mathew Thiessen.

All three are from Chilliwack and all three face trafficking charges.
