PICS: Sikh Riders Of Canada Club Donates $10,000 To Kids Play

Darpan News Desk IANS, 14 Feb, 2018 12:42 PM
At a recent formal dinner, the Sikh Riders of Canada Club raised $10,000 for Kids Play, a non profit organization working towards keeping kids away from the lifestyle of drugs, gangs, and violence.

The Sikh Riders Of Canada Club is a not for profit registered society in Canada formed by group of motorcycle enthusiasts. The Club has been a significant contributor in the South Asian community.

Talking about the proud moment, a member of the Club said, “In the media, we hear about the violence, shootings and gang activities happening in different communities. So we as a Club took initiative and told Kal Dosanjh that we want to work with Kids Play and help troubled youth.”

Kids Play holds sports tournaments, conferences, and other projects for the youth community to learn about the opportunities they can seize within life. Kids Play Founder and CEO, Kal Dosanjh, is grateful to the Sikh Riders of Canada Club for their support.

“This contribution is going to have a tremendous impact on our community because every single cent goes right back into the community. We want to make sure we provide the highest quality of programs to the community free of cost.”
