Phone Outage Hampering RCMP In Northern Part Of The Northwest Territories

IANS, 14 Aug, 2015 01:06 PM
YELLOWKNIFE — RCMP in Yellowknife say a telephone outage in the northern part of the Northwest Territories means people who need help may have to go to their local detachments for assistance.

Mounties say in a news release that telephone services are currently intermittent.

That means people who can't reach them by phone will have to go to the detachment in person.

They say officers will be standing by.

Northwest Tel is working to resolve the issue but no time line has been set for the repair.
