Philippines' Jamie Herrell Wins Miss Earth 2014 Title

    Jamie Herrel of the Philippines was Saturday crowned Miss Earth 2014. The runners-up are Miss USA, who was crowned Miss Air, Miss Venezuela won the Miss Water title and Miss Fire went to Miss Russia.
     
    Herrell defeated 85 contestants including Miss India Alankrita Sahai, who couldn't even make it to top 16 at the 14th edition of the pageant held at at the University of the Philippines Theater in Diliman.
     
    Miss Earth 2013 Alyz Henrich from Venezuela crowned her successor at the end of the pageant.
