Pedestrian Struck in Hit And Run Collision By South Asian Male in Abbotsford

    On Wednesday, July 13, 2016 at 7:40 pm, the Abbotsford Police Department responded to a report of a collision between a vehicle and a pedestrian in the intersection of Marshall and McCallum Roads. 
     
    At that location, a 29-year-old male had been walking northbound in a marked crosswalk when he was struck by a left-turning, dark blue, newer sedan driven by an older South Asian male. 
     
    Emergency crews arrived on sceneand the pedestrian was transported to hospital with non-life threatening injuries. 
     
    According to witnesses, the driver of the sedan briefly stopped and parked facing westbound on Marshall Road but then re-entered the vehicle and drove away. APD investigators are looking for information about this driver and the vehicle involved in the collision.
