Police are investigating after a pedestrian was struck and killed by a car in Vancouver's Downtown Eastside today.

Police say two cars collided at an intersection just before 11 this morning, and one of the cars jumped the curb and he the person on the sidewalk.

Both drivers remained on scene.

Despite life-saving efforts by first responders, the pedestrian died at the collision scene.

On Tuesday, Police received a report of a man believed to be following a group of walkers and another report of a man performing an indecent act. In both instances, the man was described as Caucasian, 17 to 25-years-old with a slim build and dirty blonde hair.
