  • Pedestrian struck and killed in early morning crash in Abbotsford on Hwy 1

Abbotsford Police say a pedestrian has been pronounced dead after sustaining fatal injuries in a collision on Hwy 1. The accident took place just before 3am on Hwy 1 Westbound between the Clearbrook and McCallum Rd exits. The driver called 911 and is cooperating with police.

Speed and alcohol are not considered factors in the crash. The highway was shut down due to the crash but was re-opened at 7:45am. Investigators are looking for dashcam footage & witnesses.
