Police in Surrey are investigating after a pedestrian was struck and killed by a vehicle yesterday.

Police say the crash happened in the area of McBride Drive and King Road in north Surrey and the driver remained at the scene after the collision.

The adult male victim was taken to hospital but died of his injuries.

Police are now asking for witnesses to come forward to aid with the investigation.

Police in Vancouver say they have made an arrest in the stabbing death of a 34-year-old man in the city's Downtown Eastside a year ago. They say Stephen Crock was found on the sidewalk near East Hastings and Columbia suffering from stab wounds on November 21st, 2023.

Vancouver Whistler Games Corporation has announced the lineup for the closing ceremonies of the 2025 Invictus Games.
