B.C.'s police watchdog is now investigating after a car hit a pedestrian in downtown Vancouver.
Investigators with the Independent Investigations Office were called to the scene this morning where roads had been closed for several hours.
Witnesses say the person was hit, they saw a police vehicle chasing a car that had been driving erratically -- but it's unclear if that's related to the collision.
The injuries to the pedestrian remain unclear.
The man appears to be checking something in the back seat of the black SUV, before turning toward one of two approaching officers. The officer appears to fire a single shot, and the man falls to the ground and begins to turn over before the video ends.
