Darpan News Desk The Canadian Press, 14 Feb, 2016 01:26 PM
VICTORIA — Police on Vancouver Island are hoping to speak with anyone who witnessed a fatal pedestrian collision.

Central Saanich Police say the crash happened shortly before 9 p.m. on Friday and left a woman in her late 40s dead.

She was hit (on Mount Newton Cross Road) by a man driving an SUV.

Deputy Police Chief Derren Lench says officers are still trying to determine where she was hit
