Pedestrian Critically Injured, Hospitalized After Halloween Crash In Surrey

    SURREY, B.C. — A man is in hospital in critical condition after he was hit by a car in Surrey on Halloween.
     
    RCMP say the 57-year-old man was walking (near the intersection of 144th Street and 88th Avenue) when he was struck by a northbound vehicle.
     
    The collision took place around 9 p.m.
     
    The Mounties say the driver remained on scene following the incident.
     
    The cause of the crash is still unknown and officers continue their investigation.
     
    Police are asking for help from witnesses.
