  • Overnight shooting in Delta injures one, deemed gang related

On Thursday night around 11:10pm, Delta Police officers responded to a shooting in the 11700 block of 92A Avenue.  

Upon arrival, officers found a man suffering from significant injuries as a result of the shooting. He has been transported to the hospital for treatment.

Via release, police say that this is a targeted shooting and appears to be related to the Lower Mainland Gang Conflict and the victim was the target.  

There is no ongoing threat to the general public from this incident.

The Delta Police are also working with the Surrey RCMP who have recovered a burned vehicle in the Bridgeview area that is suspected of being related to the shooting in Delta. 

Anyone with further information, is asked to contact Delta Police.
