Darpan News Desk The Canadian Press, 23 Mar, 2017 10:04 AM
SURREY, B.C. — Police in Surrey, B.C., are asking for the public's help after a collision in the city left one person dead.

Surrey RCMP say they responded to a collision at the intersection of 72 Ave. and 152 St. Wednesday evening.

They say their investigation revealed that a green GMC van travelling eastbound struck several vehicles, including a northbound sedan.

They say the female driver of that vehicle was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police say alcohol and speed have not been ruled out as contributing factors in the incident.

They're asking anyone who saw the crash, or has any other information, to contact police or Crime Stoppers.
