KELOWNA, B.C. — There is one winning ticket for the $50 million jackpot in Friday night's Lotto Max draw — and it was sold in Kelowna, B.C.

There were also seven MaxMillions up for grabs, and one of the million-dollar prizes was claimed by a ticket purchased in the Prairies.

The grand prize for next Friday's draw will be approximately $16 million.

On Mar. 18 a $60 million Lotto Max jackpot was won by a Toronto ticket holder.

The British Columbia Lottery Corporation says the Kelowna store where the ticket was purchased will be announced after the winner has come forward to claim their prize.

The corporation says this is the second big lottery win in Kelowna in 2016 after a resident won $21.9 million in the Feb. 20 Lotto 6/49 draw.
