One Person Killed In Shooting, Another In Custody After Attack In Nanaimo, B.C.

    NANAIMO, B.C. — One person is dead after a shooting in Nanaimo, B.C.
     
    RCMP say the attack happened in the southern part of the city early Wednesday morning.
     
    Const. Gary O'Brien says in a news release that a man was taken into custody after the shooting.
     
    O'Brien did not offer a motive or release other details. 
     
    He says more information will be released when it is available.
