One Found Dead In Bullet-Pocked Vehicle After Attack In Mission, B.C.

    MISSION, B.C. — RCMP say one person has been found dead following a shooting east of Vancouver.
     
     
    It happened at around 9 p.m., in a shopping centre parking lot in Mission, B.C.
     
     
    RCMP regional duty officer, Insp. Vishal Mathura says the victim was inside a vehicle that had been hit by several bullets.
     
     
    He could not confirm the sex of the victim or say if any suspects had been identified. 
     
     
    Members of the Integrated Homicide Investigation Team and the BC Coroners Service joined RCMP at the scene overnight.
