One person died on New Year's Day in a house fire in Surrey.
Mounties say four occupants of the house escaped and are being treated for non-life threatening injuries.
A fifth person was found dead inside the home.
Investigators say the cause of the fire is still under investigation and they are asking anyone with information to call the R-C-M-P.

On November 23rd at approximately 3:41 pm, the New Westminster Police Department was called to a domestic assault incident in progress where it was learned the suspect had committed an assault and had fled the scene. The suspect, a 29-year-old New Westminster resident, was taken into custody
