MISSISSAUGA, Ont. - The Canada Border Services Agency says 14 kilograms of suspected cocaine was seized by officers checking baggage that arrived at Toronto Pearson International Airport.

The agency says officers who were monitoring the off-loading of baggage from a flight that arrived in Toronto from Port of Spain, Trinidad and Tobago, on Sept. 25 observed "anomalies" with one of the bags.

It says upon further investigation they discovered 12 bricks concealed under clothing that contained a substance that field tested positive for suspected cocaine.

The packages of suspected cocaine were turned over to Peel Regional Police and the investigation is ongoing.

There's no immediate word on any charges in connection with the incident.
