North Vancouver Man Charged With Child Pornography Offences

    In August 2018, the British Columbia Integrated Child Exploitation Unit (BC ICE) received information from the National Child Exploitation Co-ordination Centre (NCECC) pertaining to an individual residing in the Vancouver area, British Columbia who had allegedly posted photos of suspected child pornography to a photo sharing website.


    BC ICE initiated the investigation, and determined the suspect resided in North Vancouver, and subsequently, the information was forwarded to the North Vancouver RCMP Detachment for further investigation, which resulted in the execution of a search warrant at a residence in North Vancouver, BC. All children identified during the course of this investigation, along with their families are receiving support.


    On November 07, 2019, 21-year-old Dylan Phillips of North Vancouver, BC was charged with one count each of luring, possession, access, and made available child pornography. He was released from custody with conditions and is expected to appear in North Vancouver court on December 11, 2019.


    If anyone has any information regarding Mr. Phillips, or similar allegations we encourage them to contact the police in their jurisdiction to report their concerns.


    We cannot provide any further specifics with respect to this investigation, given that it is now before the court.
