SQUAMISH, B.C. — There are no reported injuries following a rock slide on the Stawamus Chief Mountain in Squamish on Sunday.
Emergency officials say it took place on the mountain's north peak.
The nearby Sea-to-Sky Highway was not affected.
A geotechnical engineering assessment has been completed on the site.
The Stawamus Chief is large, granite monolith about 60 kilometres north of Vancouver that serves as a popular hiking and rock-climbing destination.
