Nine People Hospitalized After Two Boats Crash On Ontario's Lake Scugog: Police

    CAESAREA, Ont. — Police say nine people, including a six-month-old baby, were hospitalized after two boats crashed north of Oshawa, Ont.
     
    Officers say a larger powerboat collided with a smaller boat on Lake Scugog late Saturday afternoon, trapping the infant underneath.
     
    A bystander was able to swim out to save the baby, while the other victims were pulled from the water.
     
    Police say all of the injuries are believed to be non-life-threatening.
     
    The cause of the accident is being investigated. (CKLY)
