  • Newton shooting results in bullet holes in the exterior of the residence

Surrey RCMP is advising the public of shots fired into a residence in Newton area and seeking public help in identifying the suspect vehicle.

On Thursday, at 09:13 a.m. Surrey RCMP received a report of bullet holes in a residential fence in the 14100-block of 72 Avenue.

The vehicle is described as a white four-door sedan.

The investigation is ongoing and a motive has not yet been identified, however occupants of the targeted residence are known to police.

“Police did not receive any calls from the area when this shooting occurred. This is very concerning as someone could have been seriously injured and in need of medical attention,” says Cst.
