  • New Westminster fire destroys several businesses in the area

An early morning fire in downtown New Westminster has gutted several businesses. The fire shut down Columbia Street between 6th and 4th streets.

Luckily, no one was inside at the time and it doesn't seem that anyone sustained any injuries due to the fire. The fire has been fully contained.

The much loved and popular Heritage Grill is no more. It provided a space to dine, wine, and enjoy music for the locals for over 10 years and served as an arena for social events.
