New Brunswick Man, 60, Pleads Guilty To Child Porn Charges Involving Two Victims

Darpan News Desk The Canadian Press, 05 May, 2016 12:32 PM
BATHURST, N.B. — A New Brunswick man has pleaded guilty to six child porn charges following a two-year investigation into sexual exploitation.

RCMP say the 60-year-old man entered the pleas in Bathurst provincial court on Wednesday.

He pleaded guilty to sexual interference, possession and production of child pornography, making child porn available and breach of an undertaking.

Police are not releasing his name under a court-ordered publication ban to protect the identity of the victims.

As a result of an investigation that began in 2014, police say they identified two victims and arrested the man last July.

He remains in custody and is due back in court on June 17 for sentencing.
