A new building with close to 100 affordable homes is now open in Langley.

A statement from B-C's housing ministry says the five-storey building offers apartments of various sizes for people with low and moderate incomes.

It says monthly rents range from 500-dollars for a studio unit, to two-thousand, 450-dollars for a three-bedroom home.

The ministry says the project is part of a 19-billion-dollar housing investment by the provincial government.
