Nathaniel Jessup, 28, Charged With Abduction Attempts Of 2 Young Girls In Stanley Park

    VANCOUVER — Charges have been laid against a man police say tried to abduct two girls in separate incidents near Vancouver's Stanley Park.
     
    Twenty-eight-year-old Nathaniel Jessup is accused of two counts of assault and one count of forcible confinement.
     
    Jessup remains in custody.
     
    Police say a two-year-old girl was grabbed by a man near Lost Lagoon on Monday afternoon.
     
    The girl's father confronted the man, who let go of the girl and ran off.
     
     
    Jessup is also accused of attempting to abduct an eight-year-old girl on the sea wall north of Denman Street on Friday.
