Nanaimo RCMP Investigating After Man Exposes Himself To Nine-Year-Old Girl

Darpan News Desk The Canadian Press, 26 Aug, 2016 01:39 PM
NANAIMO, B.C. — Nanaimo RCMP are investigating after a man allegedly exposed himself to a nine-year-old girl outside a coffee shop.

Mounties say it happened at around 7 p.m. on Aug. 12, while the girl was out for a stroll with her family along the Vancouver Island community's harbourfront.

Police say the family was walking up a spiral staircase to a coffee shop and noticed a man sitting on a bench at the top of the stairs.

RCMP say at one point, the mother turned to go back down the stairs to get her son, when she heard her daughter calling for her.

The girl told her mother the man had pulled down his pants, prompting her father to search for the man but he had already fled.
