Naked, Distressed Couple Arrested Trying To Flee Police In Sooke, B.C.

Darpan News Desk The Canadian Press, 04 Dec, 2015 01:21 PM
A man and woman in their 20s expect to face charges after a bizarre arrest in Sooke.

RCMP in that community northwest of Victoria say it happened late Tuesday evening when officers were called about reports of screaming.

Mounties surrounded a bushy area behind a business and the couple emerged from a tent -- both naked and highly agitated.

Police say the pair kicked, screamed, spat and even attempted to flee custody before eventually being subdued -- and alcohol likely played a part in the mayhem, but an investigation is continuing.
