Mounties Warn Of Sex Attacks In Burnaby, B.C.

The Canadian Press, 06 Sep, 2016 12:17 PM
BURNABY, B.C. — Mounties in Burnaby, B.C., are issuing a public warning after receiving reports of three separate sexually motivated assaults against women.

Police say the attacks occurred between Sept. 1 and Sept. 3 and appear to be related.

On Sept. 1, police received two reports of women being followed as they walked before the man approached them from behind and pulled down their pants.

Two days later, another woman reported being grabbed from behind while she was walking down an alley.

The description of the suspect varies, but all three agree he is a man with a thin build and about five feet seven to five feet 10 inches tall.

Police say the three women weren't hurt in the incidents and they're warning the public to remain vigilant while walking alone.
