Motor vehicle crash due to collision with a hydro pole leads to road closures in South Surrey

Surrey RCMP is advising the public that 184 Street is closed between 32 Avenue and 40 Avenue following a single vehicle motor vehicle accident that stuck a hydro pole.
BC Hydro is currently on scene and the road closure on 148 Street in both directions will be in effect for the morning and possibly into the afternoon.
The weather office warned of dangerous storm surges on Monday as west winds gust to 100 kilometres per hour. The agency said the winds could send waves of up to 12 metres "crashing onshore" during the height of the storm.
