Motor vehicle crash due to collision with a hydro pole leads to road closures in South Surrey

Surrey RCMP is advising the public that 184 Street is closed between 32 Avenue and 40 Avenue following a single vehicle motor vehicle accident that stuck a hydro pole.
BC Hydro is currently on scene and the road closure on 148 Street in both directions will be in effect for the morning and possibly into the afternoon.
Nine people were killed in the fiery Tuesday night crash and the two Canadians — Dayton Price, 19, of Mississauga, Ont., and Hayden Underhill, 20, of Amherstview, Ont. — suffered critical injuries.
