Motor vehicle crash due to collision with a hydro pole leads to road closures in South Surrey

Surrey RCMP is advising the public that 184 Street is closed between 32 Avenue and 40 Avenue following a single vehicle motor vehicle accident that stuck a hydro pole.
BC Hydro is currently on scene and the road closure on 148 Street in both directions will be in effect for the morning and possibly into the afternoon.
The Early Resolution and Case Management Model, developed by the Ministry of Attorney General and the B.C. provincial court,was launched as a pilot project in Victoria in 2019.
There are 260 individuals hospitalized with COVID-19 and 50 are in intensive care. In the past 24 hours, two new deaths have been reported, for an overall total of 2,983.
