The RCMP say investigators are collecting evidence at a residence not far from where the collision happened.

Police also expect to be going door-to-door for the next few days looking for witnesses.

The RCMP have not released the identities of the three people who died in the collision.

Police say they received reports of the crash at the 32nd Avenue diversion under the Highway 99 overpass at about 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday.

The Integrated Homicide Investigation Team took control of the investigation after the deaths were considered suspicious.
