Construction is underway for more affordable rental housing units in Surrey.
Housing Minister Ravi Kahlon says seniors, families and adults living with disabilities in the city will soon get access to dozens more units as construction is underway on the Harmony Apartments.
The province says the mixed-income building will have 50 per cent of the units rented below market rates with rents geared to income.
The project is part of a 19-billion-dollar housing investment by the B-C government.
