A 42-year-old man in Mission has been fatally stabbed.
The Integrated Homicide Investigation Team say they were sent to the Greater Vancouver community after the unnamed Mission resident died in hospital early yesterday evening.
A 37-year-old suspect is in custody.
Police call the stabbing an isolated incident and say there is no risk to the public.
West Fraser says the downtime at the Cariboo mill will help the company align its production capacity, though its plans may change if the fibre forecasts do. The company says the mill expects to mitigate some of the impact on employees through vacation scheduling and alternative work assignments.
