The B-C Coroners Service says it's investigating after a man who had been missing for nearly three weeks was found dead in Vancouver yesterday evening.

Police say the remains of Irshaad Ikbal were found in False Creek.

Irshaad Ikbal was last seen on April 29 at around 2 a.m. near the Plaza of Nations on Pacific Boulevard.

He became separated from friends and hadn't been seen or heard from since.

Mr. Ikbal was South Asian, 5’8” and 155 pounds, with a medium build. He had short black hair, hazel eyes, and a black beard.

He was wearing a white button-down shirt with a pink and blue pattern, light blue and ripped denim jeans, and white high-top Converse shoes.

A passerby called police after seeing the man in the water.
