NORWICH, Ont. - Provincial police say a two-year-old girl who was reported missing Sunday night in a rural area of southwestern Ontario has been found.

Police have tweeted that Brooklyn Honderich has been found safe and has been taken to hospital as a precaution.

The girl's parents reported she had wandered away from a farm where the family keeps livestock in a barn near the village of Norwich, south of Woodstock.

A major search operation began immediately, involving members of several provincial police detachments along with canine units and a police helicopter.
