Man Whose Body Was Found In Sleeping Bag Near Fraser River Was Killed: Vancouver Police

    VANCOUVER — Police say they are investigating a homicide after a body was found wrapped in a sleeping bag near the Fraser River in Vancouver. 
     
    The man's body was spotted on the river bank in south Vancouver Monday.
     
    Police say an autopsy has been completed and the man's death has been confirmed a homicide.
     
    They say his death is believed to have been targeted.
     
    No details, such as the man's name or age, have been released.
     
    Officers with the Vancouver Police Department's homicide unit are investigating.
     
    Police believed there is nothing to suggest the general public are at risk.
