Coquitlam R-C-M-P say they are looking for a man who stole a Salvation Army donation kettle from a local mall.
Police say the theft happened on December 3rd at Coquitlam Centre Mall's southeast entrance facing Pinetree Way.
The suspect was wearing a medical mask, and police describe him as around 40-to-50-years in age and of a medium build.
Police are asking anyone with information to contact the R-C-M-P immediately.
A 25-year-old man has been charged with dangerous driving causing death after an unoccupied cargo truck hit and killed a pedestrian in Surrey, B.C. The RCMP said at the time the unoccupied van rolled into traffic, where it hit another vehicle before running into Surrey woman and mother of 2, Paramjit Masutta.
Police in Port Moody say they’ve seized hundreds of pieces of identification, stolen mail, stolen licence plates and devices used to make fake I-Ds. The not-for-profit Community Legal Assistance Society officially launched the program Tuesday, which offers three hours of legal advice to people regardless of age, gender or income, or whether they have reported the assault to police.
A female pedestrian is dead after she was struck by a vehicle in Richmond over the weekend. Richmond R-C-M-P say the crash happened on Oct. 14 at 6 a-m in the 7000 block of Granville Avenue.
