Man Stabbed to Death in Vancouver Building Lobby, Richmond Man Arrested

Vancouver Police have arrested a 65-year-old Richmond, B.C., man after a fatal stabbing early this morning.
 
Police were initially searching for the suspect after being called to a west side Vancouver apartment building around 6:30 a.m. on reports of a fight.
 
Officers found a 59-year-old man in the lobby with apparent stab wounds, and he was rushed to hospital but died a short time later.
 
Const. Randy Fincham says the suspect and victim knew each other, but the suspect was not immediately apprehended.
 
He says officers arrested the accused shortly after 8 a.m. with the help of Coquitlam RCMP.
 
An investigation into the motive has now begun.
