Langley RCMP confirm that they have received repots of gunfire exchange in the neighborhood of 264 Street and 60th Avenue. 

One man has been taken to hopsital due to his injuries, which are being reported as non-life threatening. The victim was found in a ditch screaming when Mounties arrived at the scene of the incident. 

According to the Mounties, the victim is known to police. No suspects have been identified and the motive of the shooting is also not known at this time. A suspect vehicle was scene getting away from the crime scene. 

It is not known at this time whether the shooting is related to the ongoing gang conflict in the Lower Mainland. 

60th Avenue is closed off between 256th and 264th Streets.
