Surrey RCMP is advising the public of a shooting inside a residence that sent one man to hospital and requesting anyone who was in the area and may have dash camera footage to contact police.

On January 20, 2022, at 1:44 a.m., Surrey RCMP responded to the report of a man shot inside a residence in the 8700-block of 152 Street. Police arrived on scene and located a man suffering from a gunshot wound. The victim was transported to local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Surrey RCMP General Investigations Unit has conduct of the investigation. Although the investigation is still in early stages, initial indications are that the shooting was targeted. 

Anyone with information about this incident, or was in the area and has dash camera footage is asked to contact the Surrey RCMP at 604-599-0502.
