A 32-year-old man has been arrested after a series of random assaults in West Vancouver yesterday.
West Vancouver Police say officers responded to reports of a man aboard a transit bus punching two senior woman in their heads before repeatedly punching the driver.
Shortly after, the man is said to have gone to a home belonging to a family member and assaulted two more women.
Police say the man was arrested and there were no significant injuries to any of the victims.
British Columbia's incoming premier David Eby has been asked by the province's lieutenant-governor to begin the process of forming government in a step toward transitioning into his new role. However, Eby will remain premier-designate until he is officially sworn in as premier at a date that has yet to be announced.
