A 32-year-old man has been arrested after a series of random assaults in West Vancouver yesterday.
West Vancouver Police say officers responded to reports of a man aboard a transit bus punching two senior woman in their heads before repeatedly punching the driver.
Shortly after, the man is said to have gone to a home belonging to a family member and assaulted two more women.
Police say the man was arrested and there were no significant injuries to any of the victims.
According to public accounts documents released Thursday, the federal deficit for the 2021-22 fiscal year was less than expected because of Canada's strong economic recovery from the pandemic and the winding-down of pandemic supports.
