A 32-year-old man has been arrested after a series of random assaults in West Vancouver yesterday.
West Vancouver Police say officers responded to reports of a man aboard a transit bus punching two senior woman in their heads before repeatedly punching the driver.
Shortly after, the man is said to have gone to a home belonging to a family member and assaulted two more women.
Police say the man was arrested and there were no significant injuries to any of the victims.
An aerial attack by the wildfire service and efforts on the ground by West Vancouver Fire and Rescue helped confine the blaze to about one hectare. It is now officially termed as "being held," with further spread is unlikely.
R-C-M-P in Prince George said the man suffered life-threatening injuries during the home invasion on June 19th and a woman who was with him was also severely hurt but is expected to survive.
